Description
These double doors are set in a painted brick wall on top of a tall stone foundation. The doors are several feet above the sidewalk, making them unusable. The industrial building was constructed in the late 1800s on a major thoroughfare in Cincinnati, Ohio. While I am not 100% certain, I believe the height is do to the fact that at that time it was meant to load and unload cargo from horse drawn carriages. Regardless, it is intriguing to see a set of doors high above the ground next to the sidewalk.
