The House of Adam Men's Wear store was a downtown Cincinnati icon. It was in business for 61 years, from 1955 - 2016. The building was constructed in 1834. Alas, the store has been gone for more than four years when this photograph was taken and the sign has been weathered since it was put up in the 1950s.
