Description
This photograph is of a detail of the brass ornamentation around the entrance of the historic Cincinnati Enquirer building. It has a floral motif with a muscular man in a toga reading a scroll.
The old Cincinnati Enquirer building was constructed in 1926 and the newspaper was headquartered on this site from 1866 until 1992. In the television show, WKRP in Cincinnati, the building was the fictional location of the radio station. On a personal note, my great-grandfather worked here for most of his working life. The building, also called the Grand Old Lady on Vine Street is now a hotel.

Considering the kind of news we have had this past year, I'm wondering if his news was any better? L/F
Bentley Davis replied:
I would think nearly any news would be better than this past year. Hopefully, things will improve soon.

An interesting reading of the Romanesque style in American constructivism of the 20th century. I was curious to see .
