Medium
Glass Art - Vitreous Enamel On Steel
Description
This is an abstract work using vitreous enamel (finely powdered glass) fused to steel through kiln firing.
Lady Justice holds her scales, and while she cannot see our faces, she wields her sword to protect the very foundation of our society.
She isn’t there just for one person, she is there for all of us -- regardless of our backgrounds. And while she is most often pictured outside a court of law; Justice wants a just society -- where we can all lead fulfilling lives without fear of harassment, violence, hunger, or homelessness. She stands for social justice -- a just society -- in addition to a just legal system.
